We at Keith Lawson Company would like you to know how our technicians price service work so you can relax and be assured there will be no big surprises at the end of the job. 

Flat rate pricing was developed to ensure that our customers could feel in control of a service call from beginning to end. For many years, the various trades have used the "Time & Material" method of pricing service work. Service companies would tell you that there would be a basic charge for the initial on-site period (usually one-half hour) and then $xx.xx dollars per hour plus materials from that point on. Problems with the "T&M" method can be that some customers find themselves in the unfortunate position of paying more for a given service task than others because the technician on the job may be very good, but slower than others, sometimes poor weather conditions slow down a job, causing the customer to pay a higher final cost, or maybe a necessary part is not on the truck, and you pay for the time it takes to obtain it.

In the past, there was no better way to price service work. But new developments in our industry now make it possible to offer you a better choice: Flat Rate Pricing. Keith Lawson Company has compiled data on the proper amount of time needed to complete thousands of service tasks and has developed its own flat rate pricing manual. This time is based on a fully trained and qualified technician with the latest diagnostic tools arriving at your home or business to diagnose and repair your air conditioning/heating and plumbing problem.

After completing a diagnostic inspection of your air conditioning/heating or plumbing system, in most cases we can now give you a firm price to make the repairs before any work actually starts. This price includes everything - all labor, parts, miscellaneous materials, and parts acquisition time, if any. With flat rate pricing, you can be in control of the service cost every step of the way. The bottom line is - Keith Lawson Company installs only the highest quality equipment and parts.
